Francis...

(Continued from the main Credit Card Addiction Stories page)

Managing it was easy, that was until her husband died twenty year later.  Without his pension, money was really tight for Francis.  At 75, she could not get a job, so instead she resorted to using her credit card more often.  Francis doesn't worry about paying the balance off every month, she only pays the minimum payment.  "I use it to buy my medication, food, flowers for my garden, gifts for my grandchild, clothes for myself, and just about anything else that crops up.  I enjoy using it.  I'm not going to be around long, so why not enjoy it!"  Francis's son helps her with her bills and got upset when he saw her credit card bill.  "He couldn't believe I could spend over twenty thousand, but I'm not worried about it."
